Hovdestoylen Hotel - Hovden (Aust-Agder)

The apartment was equipped with good storage space and provided a nice relaxing sound. We enjoyed the beautiful location near the river and the great trails, especially for hiking. , we appreciated the accommodating nature of the staff who were very friendly.

The cold air came into the living room and reception when lots of people were entering the front door. we missed a sign of the hotel name in front of the building, which made it difficult to find the reception.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely breathtaking, nestled in the mountains and right next to a serene riverside. The natural beauty surrounding this place made it the ultimate paradise for outdoor enthusiasts like myself. I loved going for long walks in the area, immersing myself in the tranquility of nature.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The setting was fine, with amazing views of the mountains and a picturesque stream right next to it. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a cozy fireplace to sit in front of and comfortable areas to relax. The restaurant was also great, serving delicious food and offering a great breakfast selection. We were also impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the warm hospitality of the staff.

The hotel is located in the mountains, right next to a nice stream which provides a serene ambiance. the riverside location is perfect to take a walk and relax while gazing at the water. the rooms are spacious, and the bed is comfortable. the breakfast selection is varied, and the free coffee is a nice touch. the indoor playroom, trampoline, and pedal car are great facilities for kids.

The reception needs some refurbishment as the entrance allows cold air to enter the living room.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, and always had a smile on their face. I loved the playroom for kids and indoor area for play. the location was perfect for outdoor activities, there were great trails and a beautiful river to enjoy. the room was spacious, comfortable and had great kitchen facilities.

Finding the hotel reception was a bit challenging, as there was no sign of the hotel name. the cold air in the living room when the front door was opened was a bit bothersome.
